Producer Rockwilder Launches Rocbeats.com Source:
Rockwilder, has launched his own website RocBeats.com, which will give up and coming artists the chance to buy professional sounding beats as well as production advice and assistance at bargain prices.
Rockwilder’s production has helped sell millions of records for artists like 50 Cent, Jay-Z, DMX, Eric Sermon and Mary J. Blige.
RocBeats.com not only offers artists advice and top quality production, but also the chance to earn money. Membership is free and offers artists original beats for sale, beat auctions, $1000 monthly giveaways, a $15,000 annual give away and a grand prize of a $1,000,000 million production deal.
The site officially launches in March 2006, although a pre-website launch is scheduled for December 12, 2005. An official launch party will be held in New York with plenty of celebrities and music industry head in attendance.
Rockwilder decided to create the site after receiving thousands of unprofessional demo tapes each month :
"It has come to the point where every demo that I receive has terrible music production. I have made millions of dollars in the music business and this is my way of giving back. I mean the same kind of beats that I would sell for $50,000 or $100,000 ; I now sell for as little as $50 or $100 on my website. I made my money, now I’m going to help artist get the hottest music at Rocbeats.com"
Rockwilder is best known for being immortalized by Red and Method Man’s hit "Da Rocwilder" released in 1999, but he has also worked with Jay-Z, Nas, 50 Cent, Busta Rhymes, Kool G Rap, Mobb Deep, Lil’ Kim, Beanie Sigel, LL Cool J, Fat Joe and Big Pun, among others. He has also produced R&B tracks for Janet Jackson, Bel Biv Devoe, and Pink.
