Last night, BET aired the finale episode of "The Ultimate Hustler" with three contestants left -- Tichanda, Dashawn and Brian. After the trio each made their final pitch to Dame Dash, he crowned Brian as the "Ultimate Hustler." Dash was impressed with Brian after he made a pitch about real estate hustle, while Tichanda made him yawn and Dashawn just didn't have it together. According to previous reports, Brian, now being the last standing, will receive a Jeep Commander, a platinum and diamond chain worth $15,000, a Tiret Watch, a CEO Fall Collection wardrobe makeover, PRO-KEDS sneakers, which the winner will get to design, a subscription to America Magazine and additional goodies totaling over $100,000. Crips co-founder Stanley "Tookie" Williams was executed by lethal injection on Tuesday (December 13) and was pronounced dead at 12:35 a.m. PT. According to reports, technicians struggled for more than 10 minutes to insert the IV into Williams' arm. Witnesses said his death from the lethal injection took close to 20 minutes. Williams, 51, acknowledged a violent past, but maintained his innocence till the end. ... Comedian Richard Pryor passed on Saturday morning (December 10) of a heart attack at the age of 65. He had been suffering from multiple sclerosis before he died at Encino Hospital near Los Angeles, where he was pronounced dead at 7:58 a.m. PT. "He did not suffer, he went quickly and at the end there was a smile on his face," his wife, Jennifer Pryor, said, according to the AP. ...

According to MTV Europe, 50 Cent wants to be a movie producer. The rapper recently inked a development deal to produce films, and is already planning to turn his forthcoming G-Unit series of street fiction books into DVD films or maybe even theatrical releases, shortly after they are published in 2007. ... Also, a female rapper, who goes by the name of JahJah (real name Janine Gordon), has filed a copyright-infringement suit against both 50 Cent and Dr. Dre in Manhattan federal court in New York last week. Gordon claims that three of her songs ("Poppin' at Da Club," "Crazy Dreams" and "Hardcore") were borrowed for 50 Cent's album, The Massacre. ...

Kanye West, Young Jeezy and Common are among those who will perform at MTV's New Year's Eve party in New York's Times square. According to MTV, the party will air live at 10:30 p.m. ET on December 31 and as always will feature appearance from various celebs including Reverend Run. ... The Black Eyed Peas will headline a New Year's Eve event as well. The group has been tapped to headline the 21+ New Year's Eve extravaganza GIANT VILLAGE 2006, which will be held on six-blocks around Wilshire Blvd., Hope St. and Grand Ave. in downtown Los Angeles Saturday, December 31. Beverly Broadus Green, the mother of Snoop Dogg, has recently launched The Mothers of Entertainers (M.O.E.), an organization designed to steer children away from gangs and violence, with its primary targets including underprivileged children, abused women and the homeless.
