Lady Sovereign In Negotiations With Jay-Z

The first lady of UK rap, Lady Sovereign is spreading her wings and has crossed the pond to meet up with none other then Jay-Z.
Sov was in New York earlier this month to meet with the Def Jam boss, Chairman LA Reid, Usher and Tiarra.
After performing for the A List audience it was decided that Sov would be put to work in the studio with the likes of Missy Elliot and The Neptunes.
Lady Sovereign is currently in negotiations with a Def Jam subsidiary and Jay-Z’s new label, La Familia, the label through which she will most likely be releasing her material in US.
Sov’s next US single is out on Chocolate Industries…will she take the US by storm?
I guess we will have to wait and see, in the meantime her new single ‘Hoodie’ is out in the UK on November 7 through Island Records.
