Jay-Z Signing The Lox

Source: BS

In recent Allhiphop's interview with Sheek Louch, the Lox member revealed that Jay-Z is actively pursuing the squad from Yonkers. That's no surprise there. Real recognizes real and the Lox have so much to offer. Not only would Jay have each member drop their own solo album, but also the heavily, heavily anticipated Lox album. S Dot, the hustla of all hustlas realizes what a grand acquisition the Lox would be, so does P. Diddy -- oh, I'm sorry, Diddy. I'm sure the Bad Boy impresario wouldn't force them to rock those shiny suits this time around, but I think the Lox signing with Jay-Z and Def Jam would be tremendous.

Each member -- Jadakiss, Sheek and Styles P -- would each post career highs in album sales. In fact, I think Jay working with Styles hands-on would be unbelievable because Styles is a cat that's as talented as anyone out there and deserves his shine at the forefront. In addition with Sheek revealing that the rumors about Jay showing interest in the Lox are definitely true, I know 50 Cent has to be cursing himself out, no matter what he says. Think back to when 50 clearly said the only other hard cats out are from Yonkers to when he dissed 'Kiss for appearing alongside Ja Rule on "New York." Deep down, 50 has to respect the Lox. He could say whatever he wants about them, but at the end of the day, if he never blamed Kiss for being guilty by association, then he would have been aggressive in making a move to sign them himself. From my recollection, Mobb Deep were in Ja's "New York" video too and look where they're at right now. I doubt Mobb Deep -- just because they're with G-Unit now -- will lose respect for the Lox. Sh-t, Havoc has done beats for them. Why? Nah, I'm not asking you. I'm telling you he did "Why?" for Jada. 50 would love to sign the Lox. For that matter, so would Eminem. Shady would probably love to sign the Lox, but it's not going to happen. The Lox at Def Jam with Jay is nothing but a great look across the table. It appears imminent...
