Montel Show Notes
Source: Montel Show
Entrepreneur Damon Dash is an entertainment mogul who knows how to get what he wants. As an ambitious young man he went into business for himself and chose the hip-hop music industry as his starting point. In a short time, he went from being manager, to rapper, Jay-Z, to creating his own record label called Roc-A-Fella Records with DJ Clark Kent (a company that made millions of dollars each year). Then he went on to create multiple clothing lines including Roc-A-Wear, a film and television production company, a non-profit organization for teens, a digital company called Roc-Digital that makes mp3-players, his own brand of vodka, bought Tiret, a luxury watch company, and the ProKed sneaker company. Now, he is looking into starting his own television station. Today Montel talks one-on-one with this amazing man to find out what makes him tick. We'll meet some of his business partners, who include his closest family members and friends, and some of the people who have had the greatest influence on his life.
