M.O.P from The Roc to G-Unit

After weeks of speculations, word is M.O.P. is close to signing with G-Unit Records. A source close to the deal recently told SOHH.com that the First Family was currently finalizing the details of the contract. The deal comes shortly after the Brownsville brawlers left the Damon Dash Music Group and passed on an offer to ink with Jay-Z's new Roc-A-Fella. Recently, reports had spread that Billy Danze and Lil' Fame skipped on The Roc because of the Dame and Jay split. In a recent press release, a M.O.P. insider bigged up Dame, stating that "he stands by his friends." Hovie was not mentioned in the statement.

The release also mentioned 50 Cent and the blossoming relationship between the two NYC teams. According to the source, 50 approached the BK emcees and has been courting them for months to join the G-Unit stable. The source also told SOHH.com that 50 has been a stand up dude since negotiations began between the two camps. Word is Fiddy took off his platinum and diamond-studded watch and gave it to First Family member Foxx during her birthday bash last week. New material featuring G-Unit and M.O.P. is expected to hit the streets any minute.
