Man Charged Over R.Kelly And Jay-Z Pepper Spray Incident

A man has been arrested in connection with the pepper/mace spray incident that occurred during an R-Kelly concert at Madison Square Gardens during his ‘Best Of Both Worlds’ tour with Jay-Z.

The incident led to an Irreconcilable dispute between R.Kelly and Jay-Z that resulted in his departure from the tour.

R.Kelly has now initiated a $90million law suit against Jay-Z.

Kelly filed a criminal complaint against Tyran ‘Ty Ty’ Smith a member of Jay-Z’s entourage after the pepper/mace spray incident which resulted in Kelly attending a hospital for treatment.

Smith has been arrested and charged with assault in the third degree and could face up to a year behind bars if convicted report’s Entertainment Weekly.

Kelly has said in a statement that Smith “without provocation” sprayed Kelly and his associates in the eyes with the pepper/mace spray, the case accuses Smith of acting ''on instruction and authorization from Jay-Z.''

Smith has claimed that he was not present backstage on that particular evening reports the Chicago Sun-Times.
