I Hate Jay-Z, says Beyoncè's Dad

Beyoncè's father has revealed that he cannot stand her rapper boyfriend Jay-Z.
Matthew Knowles, who also manages the Destiny's Child star, said he hated spending time with him. 'I don't care for Jay-Z at all. I'm certainly not close to him,' he said.
BeyoncÈ is rumoured to be engaged to one-time crack dealer Jay-Z, who is said to be interested in taking over the lucrative management of his girlfriend from her father.
But, despite the threat to his authority, Mr Knowles said he was already looking for another act to mimic the success of Destiny's Child.
The R&B Svengali, who is setting up a British branch of his Sanctuary label, said: 'I'm looking for British artists who actually sound British and are proud of being British. You all have a lot of very deep issues that you all must fix internally. You're obsessed with trying to make it in the States and trying to sound American. People shouldn't be ashamed of being British or sounding British. Being ashamed of being a Brit is like me going "I don't like being black and I want to be white". It's utterly ridiculous.'
