Jay-Z's Urban Menswear/Rocawear clothing company was forced to scrap the name of its spring fashion line after a trademark question was raised by competitor Maggy London International, which accused the rapper of infringing upon its "MUSE" trademark, according to a lawsuit filed in Manhattan federal court. Rocawear had planned to call its 2005 spring line of $35-to-$250 clothes and jewelry "Rocawear MUSE," reports Women's Wear Daily. However, Maggy London has sold women's apparel and accessories under the MUSE label since 1999.
