cHARLES' Kanye Work Out Plan Thoughts
Now I've seen the video and agree that the song doesn't do a lot in the way of a 'Jesus Walks.' But then again I don't think the song is meant to be taken totally seriously. I have a little sister and she likes the song, she doesn't take the lyrics to seriously because all in all its a catchy song that you can dance too. I've followed Kanye's career since his beats appeared on Beanie Sigel's 'Nothing Like it.' When he became a rapper I noticed that not many things are all that serious to him, except his accident, his relationship with God, and his proving those nay sayers wrong. I don't personally get the feeling he is trying to be overtly demeaning to women, because the song is done in a comedic way. It's like Adam Sandler singing in Chipmunk voice about his 'shit car' it's funny. The video goes a long way to show this(Thank you kanye for giving another job to my wife Vida Guerrera...lol). The video was laugh out loud funny, be it the scene where the woman is running to the cut outs of the balla's-Dame Dash,Jay-Z, etc.; or it be the cameo by diana ross's daughter as the french woman who wanted to meet Jay-Z. It's a joke video to a joke song, it shouldn't be taken to serious. "I LOVE YOU...NO REALLY I LOVE ALL YA'LL."
