50 Cent, Diddy, Jay-Z, R. Kelly
Police in the United Kingdom are reportedly seeking 50 Cent for questioning, after a fan claimed the rapper threw a microphone in his face. The 18-year-old man claims the incident happened as 50 Cent was booed of the stage at the Reading Festival. As 50 was exiting the stage he allegedly threw the microphone into the crowd, striking the man and knocking him unconscious.
Sean “P. Diddy” Combs will present a third season of “Making the Band 2,” this time with an all female group as the main focus. On season one, Diddy and Bad Boy Entertainment searched the country for talent. On the second and third seasons, viewers watched as “Da Band” members were taken from relative obscurity and turned into a rap group. For female hopefuls, auditions for musicians and singers are being held in October, Los Angeles, Miami and New York. The auditions will take place the first two weeks of October.
Jay-Z and R&B singer R. Kelly have decided to release their Best of Both World’s album, after the collaboration was scrapped due to pending child porn charges against Kelly. The new version is titled The Best of Both Worlds: Unfinished Business is slated for an October release. According to New York’s Hot 97’s Angie Martinez, will feature new tracks, two of which she played on her show last week.
