99 On CD
The greatest rapper alive can now add another credit to his un-equaled tenure.... Jay-Z is the first major artist to use the CS2CD DVD playable video™ format. What is a CS2CD? CS2CD is the hot new multi-media CD enhancing format that embeds DVD playable video and DVD photo slide shows onto traditional one sided CD albums and singles. To promote his new S.Carter II sneaker line from Reebok, Jay-Z and Co. has produced 18 tracks of freestyles, rarities, and remixes titled “S.Carter The Re-Mix”. Included on this release is the uncut version of Jay-Z’s new controversial video “99 Problems”. This version has not been played on MTV and BET due to its graphic images and language. Reebok’s Jay-Z and 50 Cent TV commercial is also present on the disc, showing the CS2CD’s power to add advertising to titles that can generate high revenue for artist and labels.
