RCR Hit
Kasino :First off, big up to everyone who participated in making this show a sold out event. Little Brother performed first and wrecked shop. Those cats are hot! 9Th Wonder, who also does there beats, was the DJ. Yall know 9Th Wonder did the "Threat" track on Jay-Z's Black Album. They performed a series of songs off their album The Listening. They also had everyone in the crowd dancing and vibing to some old school joints to. For an underground group, they really had the crowd movin. They did the damn thing.
Before Kanye performed, VA's own (Portsmouth VA) Nicole Wray performed and unfortunately received a boo applause. She has been out of the public loop hold since her hit single "Make It Hot". Maybe her future engagements with the Roc will enhance her shine time. Hey, the girl can sang!
NOW, Kanye killed the show by bringing John Legend, Consequence, GLC, and his guitarists. These cats were all featured on the song "Spaceship". West performed all but 2 tracks off of the
album: "Graduation Day" and "Never Let Me Down". He also did a couple of remixes to some tracks he produced like, "Stand Up", "You Don't Know My Name" He had the women 'bout to come out of their clothes when he did "The New Workout Plan". One of the funniest parts of the
evening, was when he performed "All Falls Down". HE FUCKED UP the beginning of his first verse! Nobody cared though. Everyone, including himself just laughed it off. Kanye also let Mr. Legend get down on his own and sing some exclusive shit off of his own album. Jon was killing it on the keyboards to...
I ain't gonna say no more, yall just have to peep out the show yourself when he comes to your city or a city near you.
