KANYE'S SCHOOL SPIRIT: WEST GOES BACK TO COLLEGES, THEATERS & CLUBS TOO
NATIONAL "SCHOOL SPIRIT TOUR '04" FEATURES YOUNG GUNZ, DILATED PEOPLES
"THE COLLEGE DROPOUT" CERTIFIED PLATINUM"
Kanye West has created 2004's first great hip-hop album. This album is not quite perfect, but it is close all but guaranteed to debut near the top of the charts." - New York Times
"It's too early to proclaim College Dropout the album of the year, but it's hard to imagine any record hip-hop or otherwise matching it's breath and quality." - Time Out New York
"There have been few hip-hop debuts as mature and polished as producer-rapper Kanye West's College Dropout...incredibly catchy, accessible and melodic; the 26-year-old delivers musical talent and a sense of maturity that mainstream hip-hop has lacked recently, and this outstanding debut must not be missed." - Associated Press
NEW YORK, NY With the astounding success of his debut album The College Dropout - the acclaimed set has soundscanned over 875,000 copies in under a month and will be officially certified platinum by the RIAA next week - Kanye West is ready to take the show on the road.
