The Diamond Is Forever Auction
 On March 4, 2004 - Roc-A-Fella Records and Universal Music have launched an on-line charity auction. Proceeds will benefit the Team Roc basketball program, a youth empowerment collaborative effort between New York City Mission Society and Roc-A-Fella Records. Roc-A-Fella Records fields some of the biggest hip-hop superstars in the game: DJ Clue, Cam'ron, ODB, Memphis Bleek, Kanye West, Beanie Sigel, and the recently retired Jay-Z all call the Roc home. But these super-successful players know that growing up can be hard and that kids sometimes need a little help to stay in the game and stay positive when there's a lot working against them.
Roc-A-Fella and its artists are auctioning off a selection of special items designed to benefit the children of Team Roc, a basketball-themed charity affiliated with the label. TEAM ROC began in 1999 as a non-profit community outreach program in Harlem sponsored by Damon Dash that supplies 350 school children with tutoring and extra-curricular activities. One of these activities is a basketball program for children ages 5 to 18 and Dash, leaving no stone unturned, provided the uniforms.
