Charts
In this week's Hip-Hop charts, Outkast continues the domination, Jay-Z and G-Unit jump back into the Top 10 and Kelis' "milkshake" stays "tasty."
OutKast continues its lockdown of both the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard 200. For the fifth week in a row, "Hey Ya!" stays at No. 1 while "The Way You Move" featuring Sleepy Brown remains at No. 2. Regardless of a post-holiday drop in sales, their CD Speakerboxxx/The Love Below also stays at the top of the Billboard 200. Also unchanged from last week is Kelis' "Milkshake" at No. 3 and "Stand Up" from Ludacris featuring Shawnna at No. 5.
The only significant change this week is the presence of more than one hip-hop album in the Top 10. Jay-Z's The Black Album and G-Unit's Beg For Mercy, both albums which had fallen out of the Top 20 only three weeks ago, both rise to No. 6 and No. 8 respectively.
Back on the singles chart, Twista's "Slow Jamz" featuring Kayne West & Jamie Foxx continues a healthy climb from 9-8. "Holidae In" from Chingy featuring Ludacris & Snoop Dogg also moves up one spot to No. 15. Remaining unchanged are "Get Low" from Lil Jon & The East Side Boyz featuring Ying Yang Twins (No. 13) and Jay-Z's "Change Clothes" at No. 17. "Damn!" from YoungBloodZ featuring Lil Jon slips one spot to No. 16.
Tune in next week to see if Outkast can stave off competition for another week and if Jay-Z or the 50 Cent-led G-Unit can remain in the Top 10.
