YOUNG GUNZ PRESS RELEASE

YOUNG GUNZ SHOW "TOUGH LUV" ON ROC-A-FELLA DEBUT; THE ROC'S YOUNGEST IN
CHARGE SET TO DROP JANUARY 13, 2004

ALBUM FEATURES APPEARANCES BY JAY-Z, BEANIE SIGEL & STATE PROPERTY,
CAM'RON, JUELZ SANTANA, CHINGY AND MORE

"Young Chris and Neef exemplify youthful vigor and lyrical confidence on
the catchy single "Can't Stop, Won't Stop." - The Source

"A couple of junior members of the Roc-A-Fella family create a great
hip-hop single by riding a minimalist beat that sounds like popcorn
popping inside a steel drum. It's called "Can't Stop, Won't Stop'" - New
York Times, "Playlist"

"A hypnotic pop-pop-pop beat propels the first song, "Can't Stop, Won't
Stop," into a surprisingly catchy single" Associated Press

"'Can't Stop, Won't Stop" by Philadelphia's Young Gunz has ridden a
hypnotic, minimalist groove up from the underground." Miami Herald

After years of mentoring under the wing of big brother and Roc-A-Fella
general Jay-Z, 2003 has found the Young Gunz taking charge. This summer,
while rocking stages from coast to coast with Jay, Beanie Sigel, Memphis
Bleek and the rest of the Roc Army on the "Rock The Mic" tour, the
Gunners" breakout hit "Can't Stop, Won't Stop " exploded at radio,
soaring to nearly 6,000 spins nationwide and climbing to #10 on the
Billboard Hip-Hop/R&B charts and #15 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles
chart. Propelled on the strength of "Can't Stop, Won't Stop," State
Property Presents The Chain Gang Vol. II, the critically acclaimed album
from the Young Gunz's Philly-based crew State Property sold close to
70,000 copies in its first week, debuting at #6 on the national album
charts. Now, the Roc is set to drop the Young Gunz's highly-anticipated
debut album, Tough Luv, on January 13, 2004.

The 19-year-old Young Gunz, "Young Chris" Ries and "Neef," born Hanif
Muhammed, stepped straight from high school right into the major
leagues, signing with the Roc when they were just 15. Friends since
middle school - where Neef taught Chris to rhyme - the two auditioned
for a local manager during their freshman year of high school. So
impressed with the talented troublemakers, he took them, like Philly
legend Beans before them, to spit for Jay-Z and Damon Dash. Now, after
appearing on countless Roc-A-Fella collabos, posse cuts, and their
acclaimed turn on the latest State Property joint, the Young Gunz are
ready to take center stage.

Tough Luv gives them the opportunity to do just that. Top-notch
production from beatsmiths like Just Blaze on the first single "Friday
Night," Bink, Digga, Chad West and EZ L-Pee on the banger "Problems,"
lays a scathing soundscape for the Gunners to work their magic. All star
guests are on board as well; Jay-Z takes a turn on "Take Me Alive."
Roc-A-Fella brothers-in-arms The Diplomats represent with Cam'ron
dropping in on "The Look In Your Eyes" and Juelz Santana spitting on
"Rich Girl," which takes its hook from the Hall & Oates classic.
Elsewhere, the Dirty South's latest phenom Chingy comes along for the
ride on the hot remix to "Can't Stop, Won't Stop."

With years of experience in the rap game and now a breakout smash hit
under their belts, The Young Gunz have arrived to take the Roc into the
future. A remarkably strong debut, Tough Luv proves that, indeed, The
Young Gunz and their Roc-A-Fella family can't stop, and won't stop.
