Jay-Z Sells Out Madison Square Garden in One Day

All Star Performer Celebrates Final Solo Release, The Black Album, With Concert at The World's Most Famous Arena on November 25th
Partial Proceeds Will Benefit the Shawn Carter Scholarship Fund and Hip Hop Summit Action Network

NEW YORK, Sept. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Tickets sold out in a matter of hours for Jay-Z's monumental November 25th performance at the World's Most Famous Arena Madison Square Garden. Officially announced on Wednesday, September 24th, tickets went on sale for the show Saturday, September 27th at 9am. Before the close of business day, tickets for the upcoming concert were officially sold out.
This concert is the beginning of Jay-Z's victory lap promoting his final full length solo album, The Black Album, which is set for release on Black Friday, November 28th. The Black Album coincides with the additional releases of Jay-Z's autobiography, The Black Book and the all black version of Jay-Z's signature shoe the S. Carter.

Partial proceeds from the concert, produced by Clear Channel Entertainment, will go to the Shawn Carter Scholarship Fund and the non-profit Hip-Hop Summit Action Network.

In addition to his success as a musical artist, Jay-Z has multiple businesses including; 40/40 club Armadale Vodka, Roc-A-Fella Records, Roc-A-Wear and Roc-A-Fella Films. In addition, Jay-Z is the first non-athlete to have a signature sneaker line with Reebok's S. Carter line. He is also responsible for the Shawn Carter Scholarship Fund (scholarship fund for high school students in Brooklyn), The Annual Jay-Z Toy Drive and Team Roc.
