Without Jigga With a slew of albums to release, the upcoming Roc Army Tour and corresponding concert film to plan, and his budding career as a director to focus on, it's no surprise that Roc-A-Fella CEO Dame Dash is a little out of the loop when it comes to some artists in his stable — even Jay-Z.
"I don't know about 50 and Jay's tour," Dame Dash said in response to news of 50 Cent's blockbuster announcement on Monday (see "50 Cent Says He And Jay-Z Will Unite Onstage, In The Studio"). I know they were in talks, but I ain't really have nothing to do with it. I'm gonna go talk to Jay today. I'm gonna let Jay speak on Jay's tours."
The usually outspoken CEO of Roc-A-Fella Records is busy tying up loose ends on the Roc Army Tour, which is slated to ramp up this spring. The Jiggaman won't be featured on the outing, but most of the roster's other MCs — including Cam'ron and the Diplomats, Memphis Bleek, M.O.P., Beanie Sigel, Freeway and the rest of State Property — have all signed on.
