Blueprint 2.1 Well, well, well. Jay-Z is still trying to get money. MTv Jay-Z is ready to present the public with his original vision for The Blueprint 2: The Gift & the Curse. Scheduled for release on April 8, The Blueprint 2.1 will be one CD, featuring Jay's favorite songs from his current double album in addition to two unreleased tracks. In October, Jay said that he originally wanted to put out just out one CD but was convinced by his Roc-A-Fella camp to make The Gift & the Curse a double LP.
Among the tracks included on The Blueprint 2.1 are "A Dream," "Hovi Baby," "Excuse Me Miss," "Guns & Roses," "Meet the Parents," "Some How Some Way," "What They Gonna Do, Pt. II," " '03 Bonnie & Clyde," "The Watcher 2" remix and "All Around the World." A spokesperson for Jay said it was still unclear what unreleased material would appear on the LP. Jay does have a new song getting play on New York radio stations called "Stop," produced by Swizz Beatz. "Get My Sh-- Off," produced by Timbaland, hit mixtapes and the Internet late last year but has yet to pop up on any album. And Jay recently recorded a remix of Aaliyah's "Miss You" (see "Jay-Z Tells Aaliyah Dame's Doing Well, Missy Misses Her On New Remix").
